Some kind of shady cruise offers sales attempt. They mentioned some cruise package I had paid for in 2010 as reason for the call when this is not true. I have never even taken a cruise in my life. No idea where they got my number and I can only suspect this as some kind of scam.

I met a man online who I was speaking to for almost over a year. He was from Africa. I fell in love with him and then he tried getting me to send him money and then tried to say he was going to ship me jewelry and he didn't have the money for shipping so I would have to send it. Google the number and found this page and am glad I did. I feel stupid for liking this man. Obviously a scammer.

This is not a legit Verizon customer service centre as I just called them and they don't have records of this number being used with their company. Might still be a legit number that is a third party or off-record number, but if that is the case then call Verizon direct with officially listed number off their website so you ca speak with them direct to 100% prove this caller being legit or not in regards to the unpaid bills. Speak to the billing dept.

This was the "Tennessee Police Officers Association" and they were calling for donations to help police buy bullet proof vests. This sounds suspicious to me as I don't think police need to ask for money from people for tools they need...that's what taxes are for. Not donating and will block from now on.

This is actually a car insurance sales call. The caller ID said "United Auto Insurance" and the person rambled on about premium bonuses I needed to take advantage of immediately. Also heard an Indian accent. No need for car insurance and I don't currently use this company just so people know.

Received my umpteenth call from windows support technician. Man with heavy accent telling me he was getting error messages and I needed to go to my computer.'told him I don't have one )I fibbed). Then he asked if I had a tablet or smart phone. At that point I said he was trying to scam me. He kept talking while I hung up. I am so tired of these calls. Hope the Do Not Call stops the robo calls soon.

I always answer these calls acting like I don't speak English or like I'm high. Guy said he was from Rainbow.....Systems or Technologies. He started trying to ask what kind of computer I use, I said I don't take sales calls and hung up. From the other comments sounds like he would have pushed farther.

I am getting strange calls from a "medical company" about old surgeries I had from 2001 and they wanted to know if I was taking any medication for this and then went on to discuss potential involvement in a class action lawsuit for any side effects i had taken specific medications they were planning on starting litigation for.

Don't be like me, I accidentally fell for this scam without looking up the number online first. They are criminal card stealers and they will charge yo $495 (that's what I was billed). I have been working to get the biller refunded with my visa card. They said they would refund it, but I am waiting for my real card services company to make the refund on my next statement before I rest on this.

This scammer calls numbers on the national do not call registry in violation of the Telephone Consumer Protection Act. They further violate the TCPA by failing to have an operator on the line when the call is answered, and still further violate the TCPA by playing a recorded message without an operator on the line the pause or stop the recording and answer questions. They continue to violate the TCPA by refusing to provide a phone number when asked, and still further by hanging up when asked for a physical address - both of which they are required by the ... I have received many calls from this number, most while I was not home, but evident from the phone log. The one time I answered out of curiosity, the voice asked me if I could hear him okay. I tried to say, 'remove our number from your list', but the voice kept talking over me, so I hung up. Then I got another call came from the same number and I said something about reporting it, and the call hung up. I l called the number back and Verizon told me it was a disconnected number. 5 phone calls from the same format call but different phone numbers telling me they were from Washington, DC. Spoke with a heavy accent saying they had a grant to give . They we instructed not to call again then a call came in with no caller Id # , spoke better English, called me by name saying she wanted to help me. I kept asking her help me with what and she then called me a "B" and hung up!

I have received similar messages before from a man with an Indian accent. This message was recorded in a woman's voice but was barely audible due to the recording 'cutting out" (probably played so many times it was worn out). Anyway, said call was from the IRS and they were filing a lawsuit against me. SCAM!

I also experienced the same thing with billing to my Rogers account. Rogers representative said they would reverse the charges this time as good will, but indicated that I will need to pay attention to these types of phone calls in the future. I advised them to google "807-788-1246 triton global" to see that this is a scam & not an error on my part. They said they would report this issue to a manager.

As soon as I cancelled my Good Sam membership and tried to get off all of their spam email lists, it appears that they doubled down and sold my infirmation to make up for the loss (as little as it was, but when you consider the sheer number if others cancelling each year, it adds up).

I also got a call from the scammers running the www.goldenticketcash.com web site. If anyone knows how exactly this con works, please post the details. I wasted enough time just listening to the fantastic promises conveyed over the phone. We all want to believe someone who promises something.

Some kind of rewards program scam. Wants to sell you a membership to a rewards program for hundreds of dollars and offers you a $100 gift card to Walmart. Sounded like a giant lie. I can't believe that anyone would want to give me a free $100 gift for something I can't even remember doing. They said I went to an affiliate. No idea who that was and it's probably a lie.

Professional callback scammers. They want you to get curious so they can bill you with premium rates when you call them back. They will try to sound like a business you might have dealt with when you call them back so you will choose to stay on the line. Might use music to make the wait seem like it will quickly end. Nothing except scam billing happening here so best to avoid this.

Typical windows tech support call. I get at least one of these a month. Always the same lines about my computer's ip address giving off messages to windows about a virus infection that they need to remote come inside my computer to fix. Lies. They get quite angry if you play games with them. I usually do play games with them until they are screaming at me and then hang up. Feels good.

Best to avoid this caller. Not trustworthy at all. They record your number and use it for illegal billing. Many people get $495, $595, or even $695 bills on their card when they check their next credit card statement. This is a criminal and not the legit card services. If you want to verify then hang up immediately and call the number on the back of your card. They will tell you that this caller is a scam.

Claims to be card services calling with offers for lower credit card rates. Famous scam already so I wouldn't speak to them if you haven't already. Don't call them back (message will say the line is not in service most likely anyway) as this is a scammer. The FTC has been after these people for years. NOMOROBO was invented specifically to stop this kind of scammer. This caller is known to charge you hundreds of dollars on your credit card as soon as you give them your details.

Some kind of fraud scammer trying to take advantage of senior citizens. I didn't pick up on the call myself but my research seems to point to either the senior citizen monitoring alert scam or the pain relief cream for elderly folks. Best to stay off the phone ad avoid this caller, and block if you have that option available to you.

This is a scammer from 1st Financial Bank and they were Indian sounding, strong accent. They wanted to offer me a fake $10,000 loan pre-approved. This has all the earmarks of a scammer. Pre-approved loans over the phone are big sign you are speaking to a scammer. Indian accents is a second sign as it's too rampant (not racist, just obvious problem from India). Don't give them personal details.

Lame tech support scam. They are Indian sounding and wanted to discuss my pc computer virus, which is funny since I have a mac. Good idea to play around with these scumbags anbd just pretend to infect yourself with problems you don't understand like you are naive idiot with a computer. The point of these calls is to mislead you into thinking they helped you so you will trust them and then buy a 9 year tech support membership for hundreds of dollars.
Posted: July 25, 2015, 2:43 pm
Odd phone call - would not discuss with me and said it was personal business. Did not like the vibe.

Person with heavy accent calls to fix my computer. Has done this twice so far. He is using my cell number. Got angry when I told him I did not have a computer. He hung up on me.When I called back it was for a cruise/survey.

Seems to be from a "Student Debt Company" and the message was automated. Told me to press 1 to speak to an agent about lowering my student loan debt. I never bothered to do so and I'm not sure how they would do this. I'm not sure student loans allow this type of behavior. Very possibly that this is some kind of scam to rip off students so be weary.

Life Line Screening is very good, reasonable and non-invasive. They come to our city several times a year. Every few years I have them check my carotid arteries for blockage via ultrasound. They offer a variety of tests to prevent stroke, heart attacks, neuropathy, etc. When they call, it's a good reminder and I appreciate their call.

Just received a call from 347-541-0256. I answered -usually don't for numbers I don't recognize. I said "hello hello" with no response and I knew immediately it was a robo call and hung up. On a whim I entered the number into Internet search and was surprised to see all the folks who had reported the number for the. Raise robo scam. Thanks!

I have been getting a call from this number every day this week. I don't answer since I don't know the number. They never leave a message. I have called back the number and no one ever answers. I get a voicemail and it sounds like the person is from India.

call me trying to get me to pay a bill. was very rude o hung up on them. Not sure what debts I have as this one didn't sound right. I am all paid on debts as far as I can tell. Definitely no payday loans.

I've been getting phone calls from this number. After researching the number, this is a comment from someone who posted what they found out. 'Claimed to be a student loan company offering re-structuring on my student loan debt. I don't have any student loan debt. Incompetent scammers'.

AARP Healthcare calling to offer you home visits with a registered nurse. I have used this service in the past and no longer have any need for it. I wish there was a way to stop the calls as it's becoming rather obnoxious.

Same as above - I just tell the caller I don't have a computer. I had to laugh at the man on the phone who did in fact have a very thick Indian accent. They try to talk smooth, but it's all an obvious scam.
Posted: July 22, 2015, 5:37 pm
I suspect that this is a giant scam. The call was about lower student debt, but in my case I have no student debt. I paid off my debt a long time ago. I have no worries in this area. So I'm not sure where they got my phone number from, but seeing as my student loan was paid off 4 or 5 years ago this doesn't seem like a legit call to me, or they are simply making random calls.

I got an automated caller informing me of my eligibility for lower credit card rates, and then they mention how the offer is time sensitive and if I don't take advantage of it immediately that I will lose the offer. Had this call a number of time. It's all lies. Never believe a card service call with time sensitive offers like this. They have card skimmers waiting for you to input your number into the system so they can record it and bill you hundreds of dollars immediately after.

I have received over 12 calls from this number in the past week. I ignored the calls because I don't know anyone in that area code and I figured it was a bill collector. the calls became annoying though, so I just called the number to tell whoever it was to stop calling my phone. The number is out of service. somebody is spoofing, or whatever it's called. obviously they're up to no good

Some kind of insurance sales scheme from a company calling themselves "United Insurance Advisers." They said they had a new premium insurance policy price reduction available to me with a 33% reduction in costs. Wanted to ask me personal information and questions about current policies I have.
