Evidence is the payment methods they want to use which is a prepaid card from the local walgreens or such. Ther real IRS does not make calls like this. June 6, 2014, 12:24 pm After not answering the 1st 6 calls I did look up the number and read complaints about a officer David Johnson threatening to arrest people who didn't pay him their debts. So I decided to answer the next call and introduced myself as officer David Johnson and how I could help them. They hung up and haven't called back yet. They actually told me I am guilty of tax evasion and need to pay them immediately or face serious legal problems. They use white sounding names with very thick Indiana accents. January 29, 2015, 9:30 am A person calling me about a loan request that had been approved in my name and he asked me if I wanted to stop the loan telling me that the fee would be $85 to stop the loan. A scam no doubt as I never requested or applied for any loans. The person had a deep Indian accent. I yelled at them to f*ck off and hung up. February 21, 2015, 1:10 pm I was told I was approved for a $10,000 loan. I never applied for this loan. They want me to pay a fee to collect the loan. I've done some research on this number and it appears the scam is to lure you promises of easy loans over the phoen (which are illegal) and then keep you paying them after you get desperate that they loan won't come through to your account.
