October 19, 2016, 4:57 pm The number called twice in a 3 day period. The message they left was that they are calling from the IRS and that this was the final warning for unpaid taxes. It goes on to say that there may be prosecution to the claim.......total BS! Caller Company: No name but said they were the IRS. Caller Type: Scammer/Phisher

October 24, 2016, 2:38 pm Received a prerecorded call claiming this is the final notice from the IRS. They are filing a lawsuit because of attempted fraud with the IRS. Issuing an arrest warrant if we didn't call the number back they gave. Didn't get the number written down. This is so sad as old people might fall for this type of a scam. I am old but not stupid. October 25, 2016, 1:34 pm Got a call for IRS fraud. First off IRS uses postal service not phone calls. October 27, 2016, 2:18 pm Got the same recorded call this morning but it was they were 'filling' an arrest warrant. That was the first tip-off. Second was IRS doesn't call and certainly doesn't leave threatening messages on unsecured lines. Have an hour to kill before my next appointment, might call for a laugh. October 27, 2016, 3:35 pm Called and left a message stating it was IRS. I could tell it was a scammers so oooooooohhh I called back lol. Told them my name was Mike Hunt. *wink. My address was Rt2 Imaginary Lane No hope, NY 88431 He said I owed 4,300 in taxes because I defrauded between the years 2010-2015. I told him oh, that was the 5 years I didn't work, so I never had to file taxes. He said...have a nice day Caller Company: Washington, DC
