Total scam. The IRS does not operate this way not to mention, my taxes were done accurately. People really need to find something to do with their lives instead of wasting the time of other people! May 19, 2016, 5:48 pm Called and left message for my mother. My father spoke to a Hispanic guy that could barely speak English and told my dad he should shut up and listen to him. My dad had a little fun with him... The guy told my dad he was going to jail for 5 years. My dad told him "Goodie, I need a break". May 19, 2016, 6:59 pm TOTAL scam. Call was a robo call supposedly from the IRS saying they are suing me. When I called back they told me our taxes were not done correctly and if I did not want the IRS to take me to court I would clear this up over the phone right now. It took me a little while to get a grip and realize that it was just BS. I just wonder how they got my number? Is it a random type of dialing or what? May 23, 2016, 12:05 pm IRS auto call left me a voice mail. I called back. The guy was an idiot. He refused to give me his name or badge number. When I explained that I needed it to verify I was really talking to the IRS he said I needed to verify all MY info before he could divulge his name & number. I explained that I had searched the phone number and found multiple complaints that this number was a scam. He told me I could go to the IRS website to verify. I asked him for that website and he proceeded to give me the IRS website which was incorrect. At that point, I couldn't stop laughing and told him if he wanted to perpetrate a scam, he really should learn some basic info! Caller Company: IRS Caller Type: Scammer/Phisher

August 2, 2016, 11:39 am They also use 206-566-9620, which belongs to a Tacoma Burger King. IRS never calls. If you owe anything to IRS, they contact you by writing. These scammers pretend to be IRS or Microsoft (to fix computer). The best defense is to turn the table against them. One scammer had a strong Indian accent. I asked, "When IRS moved to Mumbai?" Another one told me that they were sending police to your home." I said, "Yah, three cops are here. They want to know where your are. Do you want to talk with them?" October 31, 2016, 3:19 pm Just received yet but another robot call from the "IRS" scam number. They have called me six different times over the course of a year. Each time it is the same robot message left on my voicemail. What I really want to know is if I wasn't stupid enough to fall for it all the other times what makes you think this time will be any different?
