October 21, 2014, 11:47 am This scammer calls numbers on the national do not call registry in violation of the Telephone Consumer Protection Act. They further violate the TCPA by not having an operator on the line when the phone is answered, and still further violate the TCPA by playing a recorded message without an operator on the line. their recorded message states that after reviewing your account, they have verified that you qualify for a $500,000 loan and that you need to speak to an operator immediately. However, the operator clearly does not have your pre-qualification information, but instead needs to start qualifying you. This is clearly a scam. November 17, 2014, 3:18 am Pre-approved loan scammer. These people are offering illegal pre-approved loans, as these types of loans are not legal in the usa over the phone. They want pre paid cash from a green dot card or some other payment and will rip you off. This is a phishing scam first and foremost so be careful if you just looked this number up.
