July 25, 2016, 12:40 pm I repeatedly receive calls on my mobile from a "home security" company. One caller identified themselves as "United Security" and another stated "Security Promotion". I called back, asked to be taken off their list and the guy asked how old I was. When I responded "none of his business" he hung up on me. They call me every 2-3 days and I don't know how to make it stop. There are many different numbers that call me, but this is the only one I have been able to call back. July 26, 2016, 11:22 am These people use this number plus others for this same security company. I have my doubt if they are really a security company. They always have a foreign accent. Who can these people be reported to for nuisance. I have been very nice over and over and they still call after repeated promises that they will stop. July 26, 2016, 4:57 pm This is not a security company. It is a scam. Someone saying that you need to call and speak to a "magistrate" or something about some kind of criminal charge against you. I've gotten these calls several times, today from this same number. They left me a message and tell you to callback to 305-515-8791. A couple months back I got the same kind of call. It was some foreigner telling me I'm behind on taxes from a few years ago, and they tell you that if you don't come to some sort of resolution with them right then & there and pay them over the phone, they immediately issue a warrant for your arrest and someone will show up at your door within 45 minutes. Needless to say that never happened. And I've NEVER committed tax evasion. They're all a bunch of crooks trying to prey on ignorant people who don't know any better!
