February 1, 2015, 6:43 pm I got "L7 SCVC CALL" on the call display and this content of the call was regarding a pre-approved loan which I believe is illegal to offer people over the phone in the US. So that should be the first clue that this is a scam. The second clue should be the green dot card or prepaid payment card they want you to use for the fees to get the loan. March 20, 2015, 2:52 am These people will ask for a payment for the pre-approved loan and then keep you waiting until you feel the need to call them back. Then they will ask for more money due to fines and taxes since you have bad credit. From there it's more lies until you chose to give up and go away. April 10, 2015, 12:08 pm This scammer calls numbers on the national do not call list in violation of the Telephone Consumer Protection Act. They further violate the TCPA by failing to have a real person on the line when the call is answered, and again by playing a recorded message as part of an automated voice-activated system without an operator on the line to handle the call, pause the system, and answer questions. They further violate the TCPA by hanging up when asked for a phone number and address, claiming that they cannot provide that information (even though it is required by the TCPA). Their scam is to offer a special discounted small business loan that you have already qualified for, but they clearly do not have sufficient information to have already approved this loan.
