I must have gotten the other person's phone number on my cell when they abandoned it long ago. I told them this and they were polite about it and said they would remove my number. April 2, 2015, 11:01 pm The caller is "CBE Group" and they are debt collection agency that is calling for unpaid medical bills from a doctor I visited a year ago. April 14, 2015, 12:51 pm CBE Group calling to verify my name and address. They wouldn't go into why they were calling unless they I gave them this information first. I thought it was weird and suspicious, but I've learned now that there are actually privacy laws related to debt collection and they can't legally reveal some information which could be gleaned from learning why you have a debt and possibly also to reduce embarrassing people at work with their bosses about their debts. September 30, 2015, 8:24 am Definitely a debt collection company named "CBE Group" and they wanted to verify personal information from someone who doesn't live at this number, in fact I don't even know who the people they were asking for are. December 8, 2015, 6:05 pm I am getting annoying calls claiming to be from a "CBE Group" and they want to collect a debt and verify information. This must be some kind of junk debt as I don't have debt and never got any mail about this debt. At this point I will ignore the claims as they aren't a serious collector.
