Really rude windows helpline scammers. They want to trick you with fake windows errors as an excuse to use their help. They end up wanting to sell you fraudulent tech support memberships. THE FTC had already forced millions of dollars in refunds from these cons, but they keep calling

Scam from tech suppository indians. Gave them a hard time because i immediately recognized the scam. Fun to lead them on. Call them back and
reverse the scam! Tell them your are a government
official. Also, ask them how they got into your computer (they will say through your windows license) and then...ask them for your email address. They won't have it. Ask them for your
IP address...they won't have it. Lead them on for as long as possible.

RAUN, from Windows Service Center, called to say that they have received error messages from my computer every time that it is turned on, and that my computer is infected with a serious Virus that eventually will cause a Crash. They want me to turn on my computer, provide access, and sell me products - gather my Credit Card info.

Claimed they were calling from Windows Service regarding errors on my computer. I said I couldn't understand him and asked for a number to call back. Gave me the above number. I asked if they had an 800 number and he said it wasn't working right now, said his name (which I didn't understand) and quickly hung up. My phone showed "Test Code VT".

Got a call from an Indian number that said they were from windows security and to get in front of my computer right away. I was skeptical and asked for a call back number the number he (John Mac..kind of funny for an Indian name) gave was 347-227-6900. I looked that number up and found these pages reporting the scam.
