July 24, 2014, 10:30 am Got a call from this number at 10AM! Called about lowering the interest rate on my credit card. So I pressed 1. I immediately asked what credit card it was for. The rep said "Bank of America, Chase, and Wells Fargo through Visa and Mastercard." Funny thing though, I don't have the number they called listed on any of my accounts. So how would they know I had a credit card and why didn't she address the specific card(s) that I was being offered a lower rate on? This is clearly a scam. They are using automated robocallers with messages about reducing hour rates with urgent offers close to expiring to lure innocent people into giving them their credit card numbers by skimming them through the touchtone service.
