September 4, 2013, 2:13 pm A Mr. Joe Malone from an outfit named "Take Two Holdings LLC" called leaving a message for someone I do not know. However, what I DO know is they are enlisting unfair debt collection practices. At the end of the message, this character 'Joe Malone' states that "%u201CThe sooner we can take care of this, the less of a%u2026well%u2026these things tend to blow up like balloons. Thank you.%u201D This is considered threatening under The Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (Federal Trade Commission). Do not give these people ANY information. September 13, 2013, 4:18 pm These are bad debt -junk- wanna-be collectors. If they were a true professional debt collector, they wouldn't be responding -rudely, and with poor grammar- to these website forums. Backlash -especially in writing- towards people who have been harassed by these zombie-debt collectors is not very smart, and are proof to agencies such as the FTC, States Attorney General -both in WA. and whichever state they are trying to collect in- , local authorities, etc. that they are working illegally under the guise of a legal debt collection agency--more in the vain of Telemarketer. Ask for their licence #'s to collect in your respective state. Ask for their legal council's information as well. Bet if they do, and you research their credentials, they are either not valid, or are just plain false. DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY INFORMATION. February 21, 2015, 11:05 am This company is called "Take 2 Holdings LLC" and they screwed me out of $400. I made weekly payments for 4 months and was led to believe that I honestly owed this money. I realized later that I didn't owe this money and not feel totally ripped off. They have since changed their phone number and left me $400 broker than before. March 16, 2015, 3:42 pm I was given the option to settle a $2500 debt with a $250 payment. I was making payments off my credit card and feel like an idiot for doing so. I had to cancel my credit card in order to stop the payments although I'm not 100% certain they will stop since I gave permission to bill me. I will have to wait and see.
