April 5, 2013, 11:46 am i ignored it, went to VM, congratulations you won a free...blah blah blah. No point reporting to CRTC as the telemarkers work out of India, Phillipines, Dominican, and they use a dummy call display number, but the auto dialer just calls every phone number in sequence, once your number rings and works, the computer keeps a log of it and you will be called again. April 8, 2013, 6:16 pm I simply went to the National Do not Call List and entered my telephone numbers. It says it can take up to 31 days I believe for telemarketing numbers to cease and the registration is good for 5 years. I hope this too isn't a scam. I'm on the National Do Not Call list and they still called.. National Do Not Call List needs a new name... April 9, 2013, 11:15 am These scammers are starting to drive me crazy with the amount of times they call my house and now they are starting on my cell number. The last time they called my cell I sent a text back to the number saying: "Do not call me or any number affiliated with my name again or I will file criminal charges for failing to comply with section 52.1 of the Competition Act."
