May 6, 2015, 1:24 pm A loser with an Indian accent told me I was going to be arrested by homeland security if I didn't pay back taxes he claimed I had avoided along with fines. Wanted $690 sent to him though a green dot card. That was the red flag that tipped me off. Government agencies would never ask for such an unprofessional method of payment as there is no way to track it or keep records. Only scammers want a recordless payment to get away with the crime. June 10, 2015, 6:41 am Fake IRS con artist. Thick accent that sounded foreign. Demanded money from me through a prepaid money service and told me that I may be arrested for my tax evasion if I didn't comply immediately. Told me I would be sorry. Sounded like a joke. I just laughed at the guy while he got more and more arrogant with his threats. Obviously an idiot who doesn't catch on to when he's caught. Caller Company: IRS Con Caller Type: Scammer/Phisher

June 20, 2015, 11:20 am got 3 messages yesterday from this number. it sounded like a recording & the first part was cut off on all 3 messages. but it was something about a lawsuit to be filed at my local courthouse if i did not call them immediately. sounds like the same type of scam that was going on several months ago claiming to be IRS. June 26, 2015, 8:07 am Fake calls from the IRS and they make threats of being prepared to arrest you and sue you if you don't make swift and immediate payments to them using prepaid cards such as a green dot card. This is absurd as the government will never request payment using a green dot card. They would want a certified check if the tax debt is large.
