March 28, 2014, 8:55 am I have an open claim with numerous collection agencies for the same Doctor, and it is rather annoying since the balance is paid. This number calls me multiple times a day, and claims they need to speak with me about a recent doctor visit, which is untrue. September 25, 2014, 5:34 pm Was phoned by these people two months after an ER visit to a local hospital. I paid the bill in full with the hospital, but they said I owed the doctor an additional $1,128 because they claimed he was a contractor to the hospital and billed separately. They also claimed it was in my discharge paperwork. After getting off the phone I reported the situation to the Better Business Bureau, and I suggest you do the same!
