December 17, 2013, 1:38 pm Female called my work number looking for another female that I don't know. Said she was from "Legal Processing of Kansas". She said it was not an attempt to collect a debt, but it was in regards to two legal matters from the state. She said the person she was trying to contact had 20 minutes to return the call, but provided no details of the consequences of that not happening. I'm guessing this company is a debt collector that has purchased up old parking tickets and speeding tickets and the like and is now threatening people with jail time if they don't pay up. December 17, 2013, 7:22 pm received a call from this number stating they were with legal processing service ready to issue a warranty for a felony charge. That i must pay over the phone and/or through wal-mart without any paperwork of proof. I have had no loans outstanding no listing on my credit report or scheduled warrants. I have never minded resolving any legitimate debts against me but all debits must have paperwork to accompany it. This is by far the worst scam. March 2, 2015, 12:25 am I was called about a loan debt from the "Compass Bank" which was owed immediately before legal paperwork was about to be filed. They said I took out a loan in 2010 and need to hurry to Walmart to use a prepaid card to send them $1500 immediately to stop the paperwork from being completed. I spoke to my lawyer and he said this is a scam that needs to be ignored. Nothing has ever been sent to my home to address any debts and that legally needs to happen at least once in order to make a valid claim of debt against someone. May 3, 2015, 3:11 pm Potential scam operation running here. They are calling about a payday loan from 2010 and are threatening legal action against me if I don't pay them immediately through a western union account. They are also calling friends and family of mine so there people must have a hacked list from somewhere to know who my friends and family are. I have never taken out a payday loan in my life. September 19, 2015, 12:33 pm Fake debt collection scammer. They will threaten you with legal action or arrest if you don't make payments to them immediately. I have never heard of this "Legal Processing Center" company and can't confirm anything that have said as being true. I believe honestly that this is a scam and hope other people don't fall for it.
