May 19, 2014, 11:03 am Claims to be "Americom" working for Verizon and wants to offering new business enhanced data wiring and connections for your business with a new service contract. They may try to pull a fast one of you by claiming to have already to spoken to someone at your business. Very shady. I hung up and blocked. June 23, 2014, 4:26 am Something weird is going on with this line. Might be a scammer (not sure). I got some one calling me to confirm a $300 credit to my account and they said they were going to call me back and never did. I called Verizon about this and they knew nothing about it. April 26, 2015, 10:18 am In my case they said they were with AT&T and wanted propose a new service contract. They said they already spoke to someone at my business location about this upgrade change within the week, but the name given to me was for someone who is no longer employed at this location. May 8, 2015, 12:01 am Caller ID said "Americom" and they said they were working with Verizon and needed to upgrade cabling for my business internet network connection to new fibre optic lines. Other people are complaining about this company making claims that they are actually Verizon, when they most likely are only a contractor of Verizon to do the network cabling work.
