to saying you are with a company when you really aren't ?

Called claiming to be "customer service" for Helena Lithia Doge Jeep. Thought I still had a Jeep I traded 2 years ago. Then said "oops, I read the old data and claimed I had traded to another year which was wrong and claimed I traded it at this dealer which is wrong. I hung up and called my Lithia and they said is was not them or on behalf of them. THAT makes it a scam call.

Fake "customer service" for various car dealers. If you call your car dealer directly they will tell you that they have no idea who called you as they are not affiliated wit them. Something is very wrong here.

Got a call from this number saying they were from Subaru and wanted to see if I want to trade in my Subaru for a new one. They are not from Subaru. Dont give them any info, they are fake.

SCAM, do not give out any information!! They called saying they were from Kia and wanted information from me. Block the number from your phone to avoid future calls.
