February 6, 2015, 10:01 pm Caller ID said "Richard James & Associates." They wouldn't tell me much about what they wanted other than asking to speak to someone in my business who wasn't available. This kind of avoidance of giving people information while expecting information from you is typical of debt collectors. They have laws which prevent them from revealing information on the people they are collecting debts from so they may sound very shady as they try to maneuver around you legally which trying to respect the debtors privacy rights. March 2, 2015, 2:06 am Call was in regards to legal threats for debts they said my husband owed. They were preparing to sue for bill snot paid. Claimed that they could garnish wages if necessary and didn't care when I told them my husband was disabled. I think everything they said is illegal without a court order and so far nothing serious has happened.
