This caller will try to steal your card number and identity from unsuspecting naive people. Surprisingly a lot of people still fall for this very well known scam job. They are not a genuine card service company and you should contact your real card services using the number on the back of your card to be 100% certain that you are not being ripped off. They robocall on mass to get as many number as they can. Card service would never call you and ask for your number as they already have it on their computer. February 4, 2015, 10:04 am I keep getting calls from this money at home and at work - its a credit card scam. Once, they asked for my visa and when I advised them that I do not own a visa, they hung up. The second time I picked up at work and pressed one to advise them that this is a business and to stop calling, they hung up on me again. Do not give these people any information. February 6, 2015, 10:51 am A recorded message saying a lower interest rate was available. Press 1 to speak to a rep. Pressed 1 and asked to be removed from the list. I was told there would be a $2000 charge to the credit account o do this. I asked what company this is. The person hung up. 3rd call. This was the 1st one I answered. We are on the do not call list. June 19, 2015, 12:32 pm Automated card skimmer. Pros. They are running an automatic random dialer to people's homes and then playing faked messages about being from your bank's card services department with a message about special offer for reduced credit card rates because you are special customer or have extra special good credit rating. This is a complete lie and they are well-known to bill people nearly $500 once you enter in your card number with the touchtone pad.
