November 12, 2013, 9:10 pm Scam to get you to lower your credit card interest rates. Just a phisher. Caller ID said, US Postal service, but that's a lie. I guess you can call this the "Rachel" scam that is very popular in the US. They skim your cc# from touchtone with lies about reduced rates. It's just preying on people in debt. September 17, 2014, 11:52 pm US Postal Service is on the caller id , but when I picked up they want to offer me a scam on my credit card rates like the first post suggested. Not legit, do not trust this line. They are faking card services as their identity and trying to skim your card# with the fake reduction in rates offer. They may tell you that the offer is time sensitive to push you faster. Caller Company: US Postal Service Caller Type: Scammer/Phisher

March 5, 2015, 10:28 am The message is automated and besides lower rates may offer to extend the limit on your card if you press 1. The FTC is hunting for these guys and has been for years. It's a very profitable scam and they don't stop no matter what. Basically, they are a robo skimmer with recorded messages designed to make you give up your card#. They are known to charge people $495 on their cards after the skimming takes place as they don't waste time billing you. Caller Company: Card Services Fraud Caller Type: Scammer/Phisher |
