March 6, 2014, 8:54 pm Strange offer to install a high tech security system in my home if I placed a sign on my front lawn. They will eventually off you an option to get your number removed. No need for a security system, especially with phone offers. I would most likely ask friends and family before calling someone direclty myself. I'm guessing this is either a scam or some weird way to actually get the system installed and bill you monthly making it look easy so you won't think the monthly billing is expensive at first. Weirdest and creepiest sales call or telemarketing call I have ever gotten. Nobody offers anything for free or easy like this. They were offeing me a home security package with installation all for free if I was willing to let them use my yard to place a sign. No idea what the sign would say and I didn't want to ask them. February 25, 2015, 9:26 pm An automated telemarketing calls about installing a home security system in exchange for putting a lame sign on your lawn. Really weird offer in my view. Creepy actually. Why the heck would you want to install a security system in someone's house to get sign put on their lawn. Doesn't add up to me. March 23, 2016, 3:25 pm Any calls from (956) 360-4000 to a number that has been on the DO NOT CALL REGISTRY for many years, is breaking the LAW. Did not answer call. Do not own house, rather do live in an apartment. Did not know that living in an apartment, allows any signs to be placed in the apartments yard. Getting calls from (956) 360-4000 is a big SCAM.
