Phony tech support from microsoft. Thick Indian accent which is usually a dead giveaway that this is not a legit call as most of the tech support scam calls are Indian people calling. Same all other scams liek this they want to get access to your computer and at the end bill you for long term membership that they never plan on maintaining for you. All fake.

I got a call from the "Windows Help Desk" to inform me about viruses I had on my computer and they wanted to remotely correct the problem by getting me to give them my ip (which is weird they don't already have) and the make changes to my computer after showing me common windows errors in the admin panel as "evidence " of the infection. They have Indian accents and were quite rude when I told them I was a technician and could handle the problem myself.

Fake tech support sales. They are technically legal, but totally misleading so it's illegal what they do. They pretend there is a windows error, pretend to solve the problem, and then want to sell you fake tech support services to prevent the problem from coming back once they are done and have falsely earned your trust. They are known to try to sell software which is free on the internet.

There is enough information on these fake microsoft tech support sales calls on the internet to easily help you prove this caller and similar calls are all a fraud. Hang up or block as they are just trying to get your money. If they have an Indian accent then start laughing because I don't think these people even care about how famous they are making themselves with their ridiculous arrogant fraud.

Called me telling me I had Malicious info coming from my computer. I told the thick Indian accented man that my computer is well protected and I'm certain I do not need his assistance, which is what he said I needed. He was refusing to take no for an answer. I just hunk up!

Fake tech support trying to trick me into hacking my computer. At the very least they lied to me about the common windows errors in the admin panel being evidence of a virus infection and then asked me help them set up a remote connection to allow them to fix the non-existant problem. Had accents from India. You can read all kinds of info on this scam by googling "Microsoft Tech Support Scam" for yourself.
