Same as everyone else, repeated calls, never leaving a voicemail. Sometimes I answer and there's just breathing on the other line. They said they were Verizon promo or something like that, I told them I need to the calls to stop immediately, not in 30 days, and they said they'd see what they can do.

Thick Indian accents calling to discuss comcast internet connection needing to be fixed. I don't know how they would do this remotely. I am suspicuious. Scam possibly.

Me too, Charter calling because I do in fact owe them money.

Posted: November 21, 2014, 10:30 am
The call is from Charter Communications and they asked me for their equipment back.

I've asked to be removed from their list 3 times already and nothing. The person they are calling doesn't live here or use this number at all. I don't even know who the person they are calling for is. They still keep calling me.

This number IS a valid number for fraud on a BOA card. This number called my cell, then called my wife's cell (which both numbers are listed in our BOA profile) and left her a message. We called the number on the back of the BOA card and asked them to check for possible fraud on our credit card and they saw the fradulant charge attempt that was declined immediately at the POS. Somebody had tried to use our card's number. After verifying we didn't make that charge, they deactivated our current card and sent a replacement card delivered to ... Read More

fraud for sure! they tried to charge me for magazines i didn't purchase.

The caller refused to verify who they were while demanding personal information. Very creepy type of call to get. Apparently it's something a lot of shady debt collectors do to conceal themselves from you while they prepare to screw you over.

A lady named Crystal Dixon called from this number saying my brother is going to be arrested for an old bad check charge. After questioning who she was and asking for info about her company she told me her company was called Solomon and Associates. She said their office is located in Gainesville, Georgia but that she couldn't give me the address. At this point I stated to look them up on the web. When I couldn't find them I called the number back and a man named Dan answered the phone. He was yelling and talking over me. He ... Read More

Some has hacked my credit card. I got a charge for $9.84 on my card. I will try to get a refund if I can. Scumbags.

Bank fraudsters. They don't identify themselves properly and demand too much personal info. Call the number on the back of your cards or bank documents to be 100% certain that your accounts are in good standing. Never speak to someone who calls you out of the blue. Banks don't do that usually, and if they did they would simply ask questions related to your shopping to investigate transctions, not get personal information from you

Just had a call from someone, who said,he,was, with micro soft and that my computer is generating error messages that is messing up micro soft system. hung up. He called back and gave me this phone number

Posted: November 8, 2014, 3:40 pm
DO NOT give that number any information whatsoever, they are 100% bogus and not in any way associated with Bank of America. I called the legitimate Bank of America number and reported this scammer number.

They left a voicemail and knew my name, so I called back and the person didn't even identify themselves, say a company name or anything, just asked for my account number. That is when I knew they were not only full of it, a scam, but also not bright.

I was told that they were going to send me papers to my office between 9am and 4pm. Serving me papers basically for debts from Wells Fargo that I have no knowledge about. Nothing ever came so I going to assume that some kind of shady operation is being run here. I have heard about some debt collection agencies going to extreme lengths to get money illegaly from people using fear tactics. But, in my case I have no idea what the debt is as I've never been with Wells Fargo. So scam it is.

I believe the goal of these people is to fool you with fake service to help you and then offer to sell you tech support memberships that you will never use or need.

Posted: October 28, 2014, 2:54 am
They keep calling me, but when I say hello, no one answers me

Posted: October 27, 2014, 10:14 am
Kaiser uses this number to send out to various alert and information messages to employees. The messages are usually sent to phone numbers that have been registered by the employees with the system.

I saw the number come up on my caller ID, which I usually ignore, but I decided to be as annoying as the "Anonymous" caller typically is, so I spoke gibberish using a foreign accent and would not let the woman get a word in. I yelled loudly in gibberish each time she tried to speak then hung up. These callers are breaking the laws in so many ways and should be punished. Since my blocking list is full they will all be speaking in the future to an irate non-English speaking impostor. I had already spoken weeks ago to ... Read More

CCA on my call display. A message was left saying that I need to pay them immediatley or a warrant will be issued for my arrest. Nobody ever came so I can assume this is fake, which I suspected. you can't go to jail for this kind of thing. I called the sheriff and they told me this is nonsense. Nobody is after me.

A man calls and leaves me a message to call his LEGAL DEPT and gave a reference number to use. When I did he told me that I was now notified or "served" of the debt and so I became legally responsible for. I call this stunt a load of sh*t and these liars can do f*ck themselves.

Secure Capital Management, making threats of legal action against a family member to take them to court if debt isn't settled in 24 hours time. I can't be sure if this is a legit company or not. Are they for real? Honest??

UCG are scammers. Told me one day they were not a collection agency, the next day they tell me I have a debt I need to pay them money pack or western union or give them my bank account. lol. Not I guess I was really suppose to be that stupid. They must have worthless lives to call people all day with annoying lies. I don't have any unpaid debts but one and its not in default, paying the company. I asked them to validate the debt and they said they don't do that. I suppose I'm to pay anyone ... Read More

I was threatened with liens being put on my car and house if i didn't may them immediately. They also threatened me with the possibility of going to jail if I was intentionally non-cooperative. They asked for my by previous last name from another marriage. Debt they claimed I owed was from a company called LabCorp from a few years ago. Something I don't remember.

I ordered US Weekly magazine from this number and never received it. It was $109 for one year subscription. It was for my husband's office. I ordered it a year ago. Yes, it's my fault for not paying attention. I only remembered about it when they called me back asking to renew. At the time I couldn't talk. I hope they call back and to get more info about them.

This is a debt collection caller. I called them back and the person gave me the company name as "debt collection of America" and then began asking me personal questions to try to verify me by name to start getting the payments coming in. I refused and hung up.

I was getting a visit from comast for service on my line and the da t before this call came. The voicemail was incoherent and had a thick accent which I can;'t discern. I got another call from comcoast that was coherant and discussed the line service in detail. This may or may not being some kind of scam that is using hacked info from comcast. either that or it's a really bad department in comcast with people who can't speak english.

I missed a few payments to Nelnet student loans, so they are calling to remind me about the payments or "get back on track" as they put it. Not rude.

Was phoned by these people two months after an ER visit to a local hospital. I paid the bill in full with the hospital, but they said I owed the doctor an additional $1,128 because they claimed he was a contractor to the hospital and billed separately. They also claimed it was in my discharge paperwork. After getting off the phone I reported the situation to the Better Business Bureau, and I suggest you do the same!

A fake microsoft tech support scammer. Microsoft has a webpage about this problem at : http://www.microsoft.com/security/online-privacy/avoid-phone-scams.aspx so I would be careful with these people and hang up. Nothing is wrong with your computer and they are either going to hack you or bill you for fake services in some 9 year membership that is a conjob.

Unwanted call from the CIBC. I suspect it may be related to fraud or telemarketing offers. They do sometimes call with special offers on crredit cards or to reduce your fees with your accounts. Still a bother.

Claims to be from rogers. Their credit collections department and may be asking for someone living in your home. Some people claim to have called rogers directly to confirm that this is a scam so I would probably suggest you do that to just in case. If it's legit then you will see it for yourself.

Got a call from this number and since I was looking for a job I answered right away. They said they were from the website I visited and mentioned that I'd made an inquiry about furthering my education. I think these websites are set up to get your information. I asked the rep to put me on their do not call list and they agreed and told me if I had any questions to give them a call. That was a couple days ago and I haven't received another call.

I don't think getting mad is the answer, ... Read More
